Viper's Bugloss Ice Cream

 

💙 Viper’s Bugloss

 

(Echium vulgare)

Electric blue flowers with a nectar-sweet bite. Use them in sweet treats, infusions, or desserts for a subtle cucumber-honey flavour.

 

🤒 Have you caught the Bug(loss) for your garden

 

Ingredients:

• 500ml cream or coconut milk

• 100g sugar

• 1 tsp vanilla

• 2 tbsp Viper’s Bugloss flowers


Method:

1. Warm cream with flowers and sugar.

2. Simmer gently for 10 minutes. Cool, strain, and churn in an ice cream maker.


Serving Tip: Serve with shortbread, drizzle with floral syrup. Peak dessert poetry.
