Field Poppy Petal & Feta Flatbread
🌺 Field Poppy
(Papaver rhoeas)
These iconic red stunners have soft, mildly bitter petals that pair beautifully with fruit and savoury dishes. The seeds are also edible—think “wild poppyseed muffin” energy.
Ingredients:
• Flatbread or pizza dough
• Olive oil
• 100g crumbled feta
• 1 red onion, finely sliced
• Handful of Field Poppy petals
Method:
1. Brush dough with oil, top with onion and feta.
2. Bake at 180°C for 15–20 mins until golden.
3. Scatter Field Poppy petals just before serving.
Serving Tip: Think wildflower pizza. Looks rebellious, tastes Mediterranean.
