Wildflowers X Christmas

You might think Christmas is all fir trees, tinsel and turkey… but let us tell you a little secret. When Father Christmas clocks off in January, where do you think he goes to recharge? Exactly. A British wildflower meadow.

The elves spread out gingham blankets, the reindeer kick back in the buttercups, and Santa himself takes a well-earned nap amongst the cornflowers. It’s the wildflowers that give them the buzz (literally — thanks, bees) to crank out the toys, wrangle the sleigh, and keep Christmas alive year after year.

So, in a way, planting wildflowers isn’t just good for bees and butterflies — it’s vital for festive survival.
