The Lawn Supremacy — Premium Lawn Seed Mix
Regular price
£12.99

Total control. Total class.
The Lawn Supremacy is a fine leaved premium mixture for people who see their lawn as a feature rather than somewhere to park a paddling pool.
Slender red fescue, strong creeping red fescue, Chewings fescue and Highland Bent combine to produce a refined, dense and carefully groomed appearance.
It grows more slowly than a ryegrass heavy lawn and rewards regular mowing and attention with a smoother, more ornamental finish.
This is not the best choice for football, energetic dogs or constant heavy use. Turf & Disorderly is designed for that particular revolution.
Best sowing time: March to May, or August to October
New lawn sowing rate: 50 g per m²
Overseeding rate: 20 g to 30 g per m²
Sowing depth: Surface sow and lightly rake in
Prepare the soil carefully, removing stones, weeds and lumps. Rake repeatedly until the surface is fine, firm and level.
Scatter the seed as evenly as possible, lightly rake it into the surface and gently firm the ground.
These measurements are only a guide. Precision helps create a refined finish, but the lawn will forgive the occasional rebellious seed.
Lawn tip: The finished lawn will only be as level as the soil beneath it. Take extra time preparing the ground before sowing.
Keep the seedbed evenly damp during germination. Water gently and avoid disturbing the surface.
Do not walk on the young lawn until it has established. Make the first cut when the grass reaches around 7 cm, using sharp mower blades and removing no more than one third.
Reduce the mowing height gradually over several cuts. Regular mowing, seasonal feeding and occasional scarifying will help maintain a dense, fine finish.
Germination usually begins within 10 to 21 days, depending on warmth and moisture.
Once established, The Lawn Supremacy produces a fine textured, slower growing and highly presentable lawn. It is made for visual impact rather than heavy punishment.
Rule your lawn. Or at least mow it regularly.
We want your seeds to grow. If you follow our sowing instructions, give them a fair chance, and they still do not grow, we’ll put it right.
Eligible customers can choose either a refund for the seeds that did not grow, or replacement seeds of the same value.
